As Senior Account Manager you will take ownership of business development and sales in the African dairy B2B market. You combine commercial drive with strategic thinking and know how to build strong, lasting relationships. You’ll work closely with global teams, align strategies, and create opportunities that deliver real impact for both customers and the organization. Fluency in both French and English is key, as well as the ambition to grow in a fast-paced, international environment.

What you will do

In this role you’ll be responsible for driving growth across Africa, managing the entire sales process, and building long-term partnerships. You don’t just close deals, you add value by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets across the African continent;
  • Identify and optimize new business opportunities and market trends;
  • Develop strategic customer plans and grow relationships;
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events;
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure customer success;
  • Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across the team.

A potential workday

08:45 – Arrive at the office, coffee in hand, and prepare for your calls with customers in West Africa;
09:30 – Team update with commercial colleagues across Europe and Africa to align on opportunities;
11:00 – Strategy call with a key customer about long-term supply and market developments;
12:30 – Lunch in the office restaurant, followed by a quick gym session downstairs;
13:30 – Draft proposals, negotiate terms, and coordinate with logistics to align delivery options;
15:30 – Internal meeting with finance and technical services to align on a customer case;
16:30 – Prepare for your next trip to a trade fair in Nairobi;
17:30 – Wrap up the day by reviewing sales performance and following up with new leads.

What we are looking for

You are an ambitious commercial professional with a passion for international business. You combine strong sales skills with strategic insight and know how to build lasting partnerships.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
  • At least 4–6 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in food, commodities, or related sectors;
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken);
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate deals;
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills;
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
